CIESC David Wilson Award for Distinguished Service
The award recognizes distinguished long service to the field of comparative and international education.
Purpose:
The purpose of the award is to give recognition to outstanding achievement and contribution in research, mentorship and teaching. The award is named in memory of Dr. David Wilson to acknowledge the life-long contribution he made to CIESC and the field of comparative education.
Criteria:
The major criteria for the award are: long term distinguished service to CIESC; distinguished achievement in research and teaching; exemplary mentorship of students; and service to the international network of comparative and international scholars.
Eligibility:
This award is open to Canadian and international scholars.
Award:
a) Certificate of Recognition presented at the CSSE Conference;
b) Cash award ($200) (Andrew Skinner Award)
Submissions
Please send nomination packages, in either French or English, to include: a nomination letter; a minimum of 2 letters of support; and a CV of the nominee. Submit to the Awards Committee Chair
