CACS Award for the Outstanding Publication in Canadian Curriculum Studies

The Canadian Association for Curriculum Studies (CACS) is seeking nominations and submissions of articles for the Outstanding Publication in Curriculum Studies Award. This annual award recognizes an outstanding publication related to scholarly insights and advances made in Curriculum Studies in Canada. Articles may be single-authored or co-authored, and should have specific relevance to the field of curriculum studies in Canada. Publications are welcome in French or English. The deadline for submissions is indicated on the right for articles published between January 1st and December 31st of the previous calendar year.

Prize

A commemorative plaque will be presented to the winner(s) of the outstanding publication award at the CSSE conference.

Criteria

Submitted publications will be judged by a panel of Canadian curriculum scholars on the basis of their relevance to the field of Canadian curriculum studies, originality, timeliness, and quality of writing.

Eligibility

Book chapters or articles published in scholarly journals or papers in proceedings, in print or online/electronic format, are eligible. Books cannot be considered but may be shared in the Celebration for Creative and Scholarly Works. Authors are limited to one submission.
