Call for Papers:  “Philosophy and Education”
Volume 4, Issue 2 of Antistasis: An Open Educational Journal
ISSN:  1929-5014

Details:
Antistasis: An Open Educational Journal is a semi-annual publication. It constitutes an attempt to curate a public discussion about education, which is envisaged in its broadest sense as a public good. Each issue will engage a compelling theme, approaching it with short articles written for a public audience. This audience will include, but not be limited to, academics, graduate students, teacher candidates, educators, and administrators.  All educationists, defined here in broad terms as stakeholders in education, are invited to participate in this discussion.
This call for papers invites submissions on the theme “Philosophy and Education.” Submissions should be between 1000 and 1500 words, including any references. Citations must be consistent with the Chicago Manual of Style (see http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html). Authors should assume an audience that is not familiar with the theory, jargon, or literature that characterizes distinct fields of academic writing. The principal aim of this publication is to cultivate a forum for the discussion and dissemination of educational ideas, research, and developments to the general public and not only to academics.
