2018 CTF Women’s Symposium will be hosted by the Prince Edward Island Teachers’ Federation (PEITF) in Charlottetown, PEI from May 6–9.
This year’s theme is “Women and Union Leadership” and we are excited to explore the successes of, and challenges faced by, women in leadership roles within teacher organizations.
Women from across the country will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and strategies for election campaigns, work/life balance, collective bargaining, and mentorship initiatives.
Space for this event is limited so early registration is encouraged. Cost is $370 plus taxes before March 30, 2018 and $415 plus taxes starting on March 30, 2018. You can register at www.ctf-fce.ca/en/Pages/Events/Womens-Symposium-2018.aspx.
This registration fee includes the Sunday evening Island social, lunches, breaks, workshops and presentations. No visit to the Atlantic Provinces is complete without sun (we hope!), sand, great food, and lively entertainment! You will experience all of this on Tuesday, May 8, during the Island tour, lobster dinner and kitchen party, also included in the registration fee. http://peilobstersuppers.com
