This 2019 Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities pre-conference will offer a FREE fun-filled and rich learning opportunity for those who work across different disciplines and sectors to participate in Circles of Conversations and practice sharing workshops in order to connect, support, and inspire community campus partnerships in engagement and scholarship.

The day will include:
8:30-9:00: Coffee and registration
9:00-Noon: Activities include Welcome and Acknowledgement, Thematic Knowledge Sharing World Cafe Discussions, and a panel from the sectors.
We will begin the day in thematic discussions about critical social issues such as: 1. Partnerships in Food Security, 2. Reconciliation, 3. Immigration and Refugees, 4. Environment, 5. Poverty reduction, 6. Education (k-12, higher education, curricular and co-curricular CCE/WIL/Co-op), 7. Healthcare (opioid, end of life, marijuana), 8. NGO/Social sector (Sustainable Development Goals, employment concerns such as pensions &healthcare), 9. Equity, diversity and inclusion, 10. Accessibility and disabilities, and 11. Other (recommendation) . Participants are asked to elect the top three topics they would like to explore and five will be selected.
