The World Education Research Association (WERA) Focal Meeting in Santiago de Compostela, Spain from 1 to 3 July 2020 is co-hosted with the Sociedad Española de Pedagogía/Spanish Pedagogical Society (SEP). SEP has decided to extend the deadline for the Call for Submissions to 18 February 2020. WERA endorses this extension for submissions. Click here for the Call for Submissions.

WERA is an association of major national, regional, and specialty education research associations dedicated to sharing scholarship, developing networks, and mutually supporting capacity building. The WERA 2020 Focal Meeting is an integral part of the annual conference of the Sociedad Española de Pedagogía (SEP) and consists of a program of paper, symposia, and poster sessions on topics of worldwide emphases and significance. WERA Focal Meetings are embedded in the conference of a WERA member association.
The Call for Submissions is posted on the WERA 2020 Focal Meeting website (www.wera-compostela.com). We hope that you will join us at the WERA Focal Meeting, and invite you to submit an abstract for a paper, poster, or a symposium for the meeting. We also seek your help in disseminating this Call widely to other networks of scholars in your country, region, or area of research. You may want to include the WERA 2020 Focal Meeting website (www.wera-compostela.com) since the online submission system and Call are available there.

WERA would like to inform participants that the University of Santiago de Compostela offers to the SEP-WERA Conference attendees a limited number of single and double rooms in two university halls. As there is only a limited amount of space, it is vital that interested participants book as soon as possible. The last date to book is 31 January 2020. There is a discount student rate available for students.
