In November 2020, the Future Skills Council released its report, Canada – A Learning Nation: A Skilled, Agile Workforce Ready to Shape the Future. It outlines five shared priorities for building a thriving and dynamic workforce where everyone has a chance to succeed.
On June 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT, join the Future Skills Council to discuss how we can take action together on the priorities in the report.
The event will include breakout discussions on the following priorities:
- Helping Canadians make informed choices
- Equality of opportunity for lifelong learning
- Skills development to support Indigenous self-determination
- New and innovative approaches to skills development and validation
- Skills development for sustainable futures
Join representatives of businesses, labour, education and training organizations, Indigenous and not-for-profit organizations and governments to take action to build a learning nation.
