On behalf of the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), we share with you the following opportunity.
IEA and the Nordic Council of Ministers are pleased to announce a new call for IEA’s Research for Education series. The call for research proposals is aimed at creating a report based on secondary analysis of IEA data on science and mathematics from the IEA TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) with an emphasis on the results from the Northern European countries, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland and Sweden. This report is a cooperation between IEA and the Nordic countries through the Nordic Council of Ministers and will be a follow up of the Northern Lights report series based on Nordic cooperation in large-scale international studies. Further information about the call and how to apply can be found attached.
Furthermore, IEA and the Nordic Council of Ministers will jointly host a 90-minute informational webinar on 31 March 2022 at 1:30 pm CET to share further information about the call. This will also serve as an opportunity to answer questions from interested researchers. If you are interested in attending and learning more about the call, please register for the webinar via Microsoft Forms here.
We look forward to welcoming you to the event and invite you to share this information with interested colleagues.
Best regards,
WERA Secretariat
