Applying IES SEER Standards: Webinars on Generalizing Impact Study Findings and Interpreting Impact Estimates

Improving the quality and relevance of education studies is IES Director Mark Schneider’s central goal for IES’ Standards for Excellence in Education (SEER). IES recently released two guides to help researchers implement the SEER standards in their impact studies:

IES is partnering with the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) to present webinars on the two guides. They will discuss the recommendations in each guide, walk through key steps and concepts, introduce related tools, and allow time for Q&A with the authors.

These webinars are free, open to the public, and relevant to all researchers who seek to ensure their impact studies are useful to policymakers and educators.
