NEWS: CALL FOR PROPOSALS The Science of Learning and Development Review of Research in Education (RRE) Volume 47 (2023)

On behalf of a WERA association member, the American Educational Research Association (AERA), we share with you the following opportunity.

Educational and developmental science are at a pivotal moment globally, one fraught with challenges but rich with potential. Educational and social disparities, structural inequities, and the legacies of colonization that challenge many societies have been and will be exacerbated by the impacts of pandemics; global warming; ethnocentric nationalism; attempts to sustain the social, economic, and cultural privilege of a select few; and disrupting economic change. Whereas these challenges are profound, they occur at a time when we know a great deal about both the drivers of inequities and ill-being and the potential for thriving and how to promote thriving. Although we now know a great deal, what we know is limited by epistemological and methodological limitations as well as by intellectual silos, both in education research and across education research, developmental research, and other disciplines and domains.

Deadline to submit proposals: 1 June 2022
