Call for Presenters
The CAMET Virtual Summit 2023
The Council of Atlantic Ministers of Education and Training was established to continue and further enhance
the level of cooperation in early childhood, public, and post-secondary education by working on common
issues to improve learning for all Atlantic Canadians, optimize efficiencies, and bring added value to
provincial initiatives and priorities in public and post-secondary education.
The CAMET Virtual Summit 2023 is a unique symposium that will bring together in an online space
approximately 80-100 representatives of early childhood, public and post-secondary education, and their
government/community partners, to engage in advanced discussions on implementing evidence-based
practices and creating trauma-informed learning environments, workplaces, policies and supports in early
childhood education, public education and post-secondary education and training systems.
Summit attendees will be Atlantic Canadian educational representatives, government officials and
government partners, with some practical knowledge and background of mental health support and
initiatives, and in positions to affect and/or influence policy and practice.
When: Online via Zoom, February 1-3, 2023
