Research Forum on Educator Wellbeing: Sharing Diverse Perspectives and Multiple Approaches

OCTOBER 24-25, 2024 | KELOWNA, BC

This Forum is an opportunity for sharing research and practice on educator wellbeing in diverse contexts and from multiple approaches. This event is a key outcome of our pan- Canadian study of wellbeing in teacher education programs, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (research team: Sabre Cherkowski, Karen Ragoonaden, Benjamin Kutsyuruba, Lorraine Godden, Keith Walker and Tim Claypool).

The goals of this Forum are to share findings and practices for educator wellbeing, establish connections, expand conversations, and build community for the work of fostering and sustaining wellbeing for educators in various education systems (e.g. early childhood education, Kindergarten to grade 12 and post-secondary).

Details of the event, including registration, will be released in the upcoming months. Interested attendees can learn more at: https://education.ok.ubc.ca/educatorwellbeingforum
