The Larry Vandergrift Best Graduate Paper Award is an annual competition open to currently registered or recently graduated (previous academic year) graduate students. It is offered in memory of the late Dr. Larry Vandergrift, a Canadian applied linguist and former editor of the CMLR/RCLV. Submitted papers must adhere to all the requirements of regular submissions and must describe original research, either qualitative or quantitative, on a topic related to second language teaching and learning. For this year’s contest, submissions are due on November 30, 2024, and will be evaluated by the editors and members of the editorial board.
