Membership & Registration
Q: How do I register for CSSE?

Q: What’s the difference between the CSSE Membership Fee and the Association Fee during Congress registration?
A: The CSSE Membership Fee gives you access to our programs and services year-round. The Association Fee is specific to your participation in Congress and is part of your event registration through the Congress system. This is a common point of confusion — when in doubt, choose the category that best fits your role, and contact us if you’re unsure.
Q: Do you check if someone has registered for Congress before approving their membership?
A: No, we do not check registration status (non-member vs. member) when approving CSSE memberships. However, if your registration appears in our queue with an issue, we may follow up or request a correction from Congress.
Q: How do I register for a pre-conference session?
A: Pre-conference registration is done through CSSE’s Membership Portal.
Conference & Annual Meeting
Q: When and where is the next CSSE Conference?
A: The CSSE Annual Conference will take place during Congress 2025 at George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus in Toronto, Ontario. You can access the location on Google Maps here.
Q: I’m not sure how to submit my proposal — what types of submissions are accepted?
A: We accept a range of submission formats, including individual papers, symposia, panels, roundtables, and poster presentations. You can find details in our Submission Guide or through the Call for Papers.
Q: How do I edit my presentation title or presenter list after submission?
A: You can email our Conference Manager at conference-congres@csse-scee.ca with your request. Changes can be made within a limited window following the submission deadline.

Q: How do I update my profile or affiliation?
A: Log in to the Member Portal and select “Update Profile” from your dashboard.
Q: I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
A: Click “Forgot Password” on the Member Portal login page to reset your password via email.
