Registration Guide – CSSE 2025

In order to register for CSSE 2025, please follow these steps:

1. Log into the CSSE membership portal: https://www.assocsrv.ca/csse/login.asp?lang=eto

 

2. Click on “Member Record” and continue to page 3.

3. Check the expiry date of your membership. If it will expire before CSSE 2025 (ending June 10, 2025), renew your membership by following the steps on the membership page.

4. If you are attending ONLINE ONLY, begin your conference registration by going to:

5. If you are attending IN-PERSON, begin your conference registration by going to: https://fhss.swoogo.com/registration-2025-inscription

6. Click “Start a new 2025 registration”

7. Fill out your email address and choose a password. Record this information as it will be used to access your registration information. (TIP: This will be helpful for gathering information to submit for conference grants!)

8. Scroll down and answer the first dropbox question (likely “Yes”).

9. Select your registration type (likely the third option “I am a student”).

10. Scroll down. Congress has waived fees for Black and Indigenous students attending an association conference. If this describes your identity, select “Yes”. If not, select “No”. Confirm you are not a robot, and click continue.

  • If you answered “Yes” to the question above, proceed to step 11.
  • If you answered “No” to the question above, proceed to step 10.

11. If you have used this platform in the past, or already have an account, the next page will be a log in for your existing account. Enter your details and click “Login”.

12. Select your Association Conference.

  • CCGSE is part of CSSE, so select “#15 Canadian Society for the Study of Education” (TIP: If you are attending another association’s conference at Congress, you can select it now as well to register for both at the same time.)

13. Click Continue.

14. Respond to the question “Are you a member of the Canadian Society for the Study of Education?” by selecting “Yes” or “No”

    • If you are a student who identifies as a member of an equity-deserving group, please use the appropriate link in the grey box (see screenshot below). By clicking on these links, you will restart your registration from step 5 onward. Your “Registration Type” will be listed as “#15-CSSE/SCÉÉ-Students who identify as members of equity-deserving groups”. Repeat from step 7 onwards.

15. Click Continue.

16. Confirm your selections by checking the boxes. You will see the fees for each association added to the summary (e.g., Congress Fee + CSSE Conference Fee + Fees for other association’s conferences);

  • If you are completing the form through the Black or Indigenous student registration link or through the equity-deserving student registration link, the fees will differ. For more information on fees, visit this site.

17. Verify all desired conference registrations are included in the summary and click Continue.

18. Enter all required information in the “Contact Details” page and click Continue.

19. Answer all required questions on the “Additional Details” page, agree to the terms, and click Continue.

20. If you are only registering yourself, click continue.

21. If you are completing the form through the Black or Indigenous student registration link, you will be directed to the registration confirmation page. Your registration is complete! See you at CSSE!

22. If you have fees to pay related to registering for CSSE 2025, you will be on the payment page. Fill out all the required information, following carefully the steps outlined on the page. Your registration is complete! See you at CSSE!
